The Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, Puis Enam Hadzide has disclosed that his outfit is currently having serious financial challenges.
According to the Member of Parliament for the people of Ketu North constituency, this is due to the inheritance of huge debts from the previous administration.
“We met a huge debt in the ministry but the hard work exhibited by the president, Nana Akuffo Addo, we have been able to sort things out.” He told Accra based Happy FM.
“We are working out a number of friendly matches for the national team, but because of our financial situation, we are not there yet”. He stated.
He was however hopeful that the ministry would soon overcome the challenges confronting them soon.
The Ministry has over the months been engaging in series of arrangements to synchronize of the various national teams.
