Ghana striker, John Antwi continued his superb form for Egyptian side Al Makasa as he netted a brace in his side’s 3-2 away defeat to Al Masry at the Port Said Stadium on Thursday evening.

The former Dreams FC and Sekondi Eleven Wise goal poacher who made his Black Stars debut against Sadi Arabia on Tuesday evening opened the scoring with an awesome strike under two minutes before the host restored parity through Islam Slemma with just a minute left to the end of the first half.

Slemma put his side ahead in the 62nd minute before the Ghanaian goal monger equalized for Makasa in the 69th minute.

Ahmed Eid snatched a last-minute goal for Masry in the 93rd minute after some poor defending from the Makasa back four

Antwi who is on loan from champions Al Ahly was Makasa’s best player last season as he scored twelve goals which saw them finishing second on the league log.

He has hit the back of the net three times in four games this season.
