National Volleyball Teams Begin Preparation For 2018 World Cup Qualifiers
Ghana senior national Volleyball teams, the Black Spikers have began preparation for the final qualification round of the Federation of International Volleyball (FIVB) 2018 World Cup.
The women team progressed to the final qualifying round with a scintillating performance in Cote d'Ivoire last month, after their male counter parts have overcome Nigeria, Niger and Cote d'Ivoire to secure a spot.
The final qualification rounds for the men and women would be held in Egypt and Cameroon respectively according to the president of Ghana Volleyball Federation (GVF), Mr Paul Achoe.
Both teams are on non-residential camping and training at the Accra Sports Stadiums. The invited players for the teams include;
MEN: John Ocloo, John Nii Amah, John Arthur, Bernard Attom, Ibrahim Hameed, Daniel Benefo, Auguatine Gyamena, Mustapha Marco, Paul Akan, Abdul Ganiyu Mashud ,Seidu Baba, Richard AMANOR, Jordan Agbavanu, Francis Giagbe, Julian Barley, Aslam Bashiru and Ziblim Issajak
WOMEN: Esther Okyere, Rejoice Agbowada Hannah APPIAH ASANTE, Amamata Dramani, Josephine Andoh, Elizabeth Mensah, Evelyn Haizel, Dorcas Agyewaa, Martha Parbi, RASHAKA Katadat, Memunatu Mumuni, Charlence Fofo Adjei, Doris Ayanga, Esther Asiedu, Beatrice Nortey, Ayishetu Mohammed, Joana Mensah, Joana Henrienta Baidoo and Leticia Edwards.
