Former head coach of Asante Kotoko, David Duncan has slammed his critics indicating he did his best for Asante Kotoko.

The Opoku Nti led administration asked the experienced coach to stay aside after the team lost to Aduana Stars in Dormaa by a lone goal to nothing in the 2015/16 season of the Ghana Premier league.

The former Hearts of Oak trainer finally relinquished his position after he was settled by the club but Duncan says he is not bothered about what the negative statement made about him.

“As a coach you need not to say I will never join this club because you don’t know what the future hold.” He told Happy FM.

“I hear people saying I didn’t do anything at Kotoko but I always ask them that did I spend only one week with Kotoko?

“Every football supporter knows that I did my best for Kotoko and if I did nothing for the club, why did they allowed me to stay at the club for about one and half year?

“Everybody at the club knew what I did for the club so I am not bothered about the negative statement people say.” He added.
