Black Queens coach Mas-Ud Dramani has urged clubs and scouts and to monitor the upcoming 2017 Tertiary Football League.

Twelve institutions housed in two groups - Southern and Northern Zones will compete for the ultimate crown during the 10-week period.

The launch of the historic University league was broadcast LIVE on Kwese Free Sports over the weekend amid the draw for the competition.

And Mas-Ud Dramani, who represented the Ghana FA, was left impressed while urging football teams to take a closer look at the talents.

"We are happy to be part of this excitement. I think from the technical point of view, we can mention on authority that many of these tertiary institutions that are involved are manned by qualified personnel," he said at the launch

"We expect coaches and scouts of of football clubs, Premier teams, Division Ones and academies have to watch these games in order to observe and analyse and be able to identify a talent.

"And then continue to develop the talent at the best levels.

The University of Ghana will battle city rivals Accra Technical University in their opening game on Saturday September 30.

Marshalls University College will open their campaign against Ghana Technology University College while All Nations University College will battle Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration.

The Northern sector threw up some exciting pairings with host Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology battling it out with Garden City University College in the opening match.

Christian Service University College will clash with Kumasi Technical University while University while University of Education - Kumasi will battle it out with Baptist University College.

The Tertiary Football League is intended to get rounded talents who will pursue the sport to the highest level while combining it with education.
