CAF boss Dr Ahmad Ahmad paid a working visit to Ghana's Vice-President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia at the Flagstaff House in Accra on Friday.
The Madagascan was accompanied by a delegated from the continent's governing body, CAF as well as the Ghana FA.
The two men discussed issues pertaining to the development and growth of the game on the continent.
The CAF boss assured the Confederation of government's continued support in developing Sports in Ghana.
Dr Ahmad will also be the special guest of honour at the Sly Tetteh Legacy Lectures which takes place on Friday night in Accra.
Dr Ahmad and his team have met the Ghana FA Executive Committee and also officials of the Professional Footballers Association of Ghana.
He will attend the WAFU Nations Cup final between host Ghana and Nigeria in Cape Coast on Sunday.
