Samuel Sarfo Eyes Revenge Over Nigeria In WAFU Finals On Sunday

Black Stars B defender, Samuel Sarfo has vowed to take revenge against Nigeria on Sunday in their WAFU finals.

The Super Eagles defeated Ghana by 2:0 in the final Group A match which propelled Nigeria to qualify for the semi finals of the tournament.

Despite losing to Nigeria, the Black Stars “B” were able to qualify for the semi-finals having beaten Guinea and Mali.

The defending Champions after a win over Niger in the semi-finals are poised to beat their perennial rivals in the finals come Sunday.

Speaking to Ghanasportsonline, the Liberty Professionals man is anticipating revenge over Nigeria who also defeated Benin to qualify for the finals.

“We can’t afford to lose to them for the second time, we lost in the final Group game and this time it should be a revenge for us.

“We know the fans were disappointed about that defeat but this time around we will do all we can to win the finals.

“That is the only way we can make the people of Ghana happy and personally I am looking forward to a get game.”

Winner of this year’s WAFU Cup of Nations takes away a whopping UD$100,000.
