Jordan Ayew’s Performance Impresses Abedi Pele

Ghana legend, Abedi Ayew Pele says he is impressed with the performance of Jordan Ayew with Swansea City.

The Black Stars striker was criticized and slammed publicly for failing to take up his chances in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Congo at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

Despite the criticism, Jordan have been able to find the back of the net two times for Swansea City and has been applauded by his father for his immense contribution to the club.

Speaking to Footballmadeinghana.com, the Maestro said, “It has been a very difficult season for him moving in January from Aston Villa to Swansea City and for the first two months he wasn’t playing.

“Things were not at the right place but that is football, we all agree it comes with its own problem. If you are able to stand on your feet well to tackle those problems then success will be yours and that is what has happened to him so we are all very happy for him for scoring in both the EPL and EFL.

“I am excited that things are moving very well now, he ended last season very well as he stood up and made his club stay in the Premiership so I think if he has started well too we have to give him the credit.” He added.

Jordan scored against Crystal Palace in the EPL after the international break and also scored against Reading in the EFL Carabao Cup last Tuesday.
