Ahmad Ahmad Expected In Ghana Today

President of Confederation of Africa Football, Ahmad Ahmad is expected to arrive in Ghana later today to start a four day working visit which will be rounded at Sunday’s final match in the ongoing WAFU Cup.

The CAF supremo will lead a high powered delegation into the country for the first time since taking over from then president, Issah Hayattou.

The familiarization tour will take Ahmad Ahmad to notable sporting facilities across the country predominantly led by the Ghanaman soccer centre in Prampram. The CAF president will then speak to the press on a number of issues related to the 2018 CHAN and the possible reorganization of football in the country and the continent at large.

The visit will be crowned by a CAF executive committee in the country after a courtesy call on the vice president of the land , Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia on Friday. The Exco meeting is set to be staged inside the Sly Tetteh Memorial Lecture Hall in the Nation’s capital.

The delegation will then crown their tour in the western region on Sunday, where the grand finale of the WAFU tourney will be played.
