Ghana’s sensational Sena Agbeko recorded a unanimous decision over America’s Brad Austin at the State Fairgrounds Sport Arena in Nashville in USA over the weekend.
The Ghanaian who hails from the Volta Region controlled the action from round one to round six in their light heavyweight contest.
With the win Agbeko has improved his fight record to 19-1, 17 KO’s, while Austin is at 12-26, 17 KO’s.
After the fight, Agbeko in an interview with the media expressed his joy over the victory.
“I felt good to get back in there,” he said. “I was in there with a veteran who knew how to survive and basically did everything he could to make it to the end of the fight, but i was content with getting the rounds and being able to display my skills. My performance was fair, I still have room for improvements so I’m definitely a work in progress.” He expressed.
On his world title ambition, Agbeko stressed that he is taking every fight at a time.
Meanwhile, many Ghana believe Agbeko must be added to Ghana’s world title hopes and the media must give him the much needed publicity and advertisement to attract a world title shot.
