Karsiyaka Set To Pay Emmanuel Banahene €56,500

Karşıyaka President, Mutlu Altuğ has agreed to pay Ghanaian striker Emmanuel Osei Banahene a whopping amount of €56,500.

The Turkish based club failed to pay the wages of the former Ismaily SC striker who plied his trade with them during the 2012/2013 season and they have been dragged to FIFA.

An ultimatum was given to Karsiyaka to settle the Ghanaian international or face demotion and they are already to obliged.

“Our lawyers are in touch with Banahene and his lawyer, we are trying to negotiate, I do not think that the punishment will be implemented after we have paid and accepted our consent.”Altug told yeniasir.

Banahene last season featured for Sanluirfaspor but failed to extend his contract when it ended.
