Hasaacas mourn with Ofei Ansah's family


Sekondi, June 14, GNA - The management and players of Sekondi Hasaacas have expressed their distress at the untimely death of coach Ofei Ansah, of Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club. They said they are equally distressed and wish to mourn with Hearts and the bereaved family of Ofei Ansah.

A statement issued by Wilfred Essel Ackon, the Public Relations officer of Sekondi Hasaacas said the coach's death is unfortunate because Ofei Ansah was just picking fast the pieces as a great coach, and that 'we know how his death has affected the team and the family'. "We are encouraging the entire Hearts team and the family to take heart and find consolation in the Lord. We hope this unfortunate incident will not derail your plans for the season'.

Mr Ackon said while "we await the final funeral rites to give our dear brother a fitting burial we say 'your death is a great loss to all football lovers'.

He said it the club's fervent hope that the good Lord would give an eternal rest. 14 June 05
