Accra, Aug. 28, GNA - A Management Member and Deputy Greater Accra representative of Aduana Stars, Elvis Osei Poku has stated with authority that his side will beat Accra Hearts of Oak in their mid-week encounter.

Aduana Stars, who currently occupy the top spot of the ongoing Ghana premier league, will take on Accra Hearts of Oak at the Accra sports stadium in Match Day 26.

In an interview with Ghana News Agency (GNA) sports, Elvis Poku said Aduana Stars are determined to win the game in Accra or at least go home with a point.

'We are ready for Hearts of Oak on Wednesday…I am urging all our supporters to come to the stadium to cheer the boys up.

'We are very confident of winning the Ghana premier league this year.'

According to Mr Osei Poku, the team will not leave the Accra sports stadium empty handed, saying that, 'we are not losing this game and that is for sure…we will win to maintain the top spot or get a draw.

'The team is well motivated and well determined to win this year's Ghana premier league,' he added.

Aduana Stars are leading the league table with 47 points after beating Inter Allies by a goal to nil, with Accra Heats of Oak occupying the third position with 43 points after 25 games.
