Management Committee of Hearts approve new appointments


Accra, June 10, GNA - The management of Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club has approved the appointment of Mr Nelson Frank Nwokolo, as the officer in charge of Youth Development and also the Chairman of Auroras, the nursery side of the Club.

Mr Nwokolo is the Project Coordinator of Home Magic Ghana limited and member of the Management Committee of the Club. A Press Release issued on the new appointment signed by Mr Ashford Tettey Oku, Administrative Manager of Club copied to the GNA Sports said Mr Nwokolo has therefore been mandated to constitute his own Management Committee with prior executive approval to enable him tackle the urgent need to push the Club's Youth policy forward.

Mr Oku said it is the expectation of the Management Committee that with the support of all supporters and well wishers of the Club, the fortunes of Auroras would be turned over to feed Hearts and thereby curb the highly expensive practise of recruiting players from other Clubs. Meanwhile the release has also named Mr Albert Commey, a teacher and regular columnist of the "Hearts News" as the assistant Public Relations Officer to Mr Randy Abbey.

The release said the appointment of Mr Commey is in line with the new human resource policy of the Club, which focuses on identifying progressive and competent Phobians to offer them the opportunity to0 serve the Club better.
