Hearts/ Liberty to remember Ofei Ansah


Accra, June 10, GNA - Accra Hearts of Oak and city rivals, Liberty Professionals are to engage in a special friendly football match on Wednesday, June 15, to honour of Hearts departed hero, coach Emmanuel Ofei Ansah.

Ansah gave up life in the early hours of Wednesday after he collapsed and died at the Ridge Hospital in Accra when he supervised a sweet victory over his mentor, "Sir" Cecil Jones Attuquayefio coached Liberty Professionals in their eighth-week Premier League game.

The friendly game, which is expected to be an annual affair, according to Mr. Ashford Tettey-Oku, Administrative Manager of the Phobians would have players and supporters of both sides wearing red arm and head bands. Rates of 20,000 and 10,000 cedis would be charged at the gates.
