Accra, Aug. 7, GNA - Salya Nsalbini, captain of the SSNIT hockey team (Trustees) says he is confident that his side would win the 2017 Sapholda Hockey League.

Trustees on Saturday thrashed Ark men 10-0 in week 11 of the Sapholda Hockey League at the Theodosia Okoh Hockey Stadium and Nsalbini, who also doubles as the captain of the National Male hockey team said his team is on course to snatch the tile from the defending champions, Police hockey team.

Trustees has accumulated 22 points out of nine matches played so far and one point behind league leaders GRA in the male category.

National team player Jonny Botsio grabbed six goals, whilst Francis Lartey, Agbeli Samuel, Leslie Banor and Mohammed Osumanu added four goals to complete the 10-nil rout.

In their previous match, Trustees drew 1-1 with second placed Exchequers and the captain believes the team would be consistent in their remaining matches to clinch the title.

In an interview with the GNA Sports, Nsalbini said ''coming into the game, we were determined to win and every three point is important to us.

'We fought our way in and we carried the day. This is a good win for us and we will be consistent and win all the remaining matches to endure that we win the league. This win meant a lot to us and for sure we are winning the league. I'm very confident about that'.
