New Torino goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu says he did not contact his friend Afriyie Acquah over his move to the Serie A club.
Sirigu joined the Turin-based club from French giants Paris Saint Germain.
He played with the Ghana international at Palermo and will re-unite with the midfield ace.
"No, I did not hear from anybody before signing for Torino. It was my decision and I did not contact anyone. I knew Afriyie was there but we did not talk," Sirigu said.
