Go Ahead Eagles technical director Dennis Bekking has hailed the capture of Ghanaian midfielder Shadrach Eghan.

Eghan, 22, has joined the Dutch top-flight side from Danish side Danish side  Vendsyssel FF.

And the club's technical chief Dennis Bekking has extolled the qualities of the former Ghana youth international.

"Because of his young age and detailed resume several clubs competed for his signature," he told the club's official website

"In recent weeks we have had very intensive talks with Shadrach. He was open to our story, was very interested in our plans for him.

"Shadrach is a very ambitious professional. He has proven that he has a lot of potential, but he also had to deal with setbacks.

"Now he wants to continue its growth at Go Ahead Eagles. Shadrach is creative, technically skilled and deployed at multiple positions.

"He is a real gain for whom Go Ahead Eagles certainly not the ceiling. We are therefore very pleased that we were able to capture a player of his caliber. "

Eghan is expected to start pre-season with the side next week.
