Mfum to face Disciplinary Committee

Accra, May 24, GNA - Mr. Wilberforce Mfum, former board member of Kumasi Asante Kotoko Football Club is to appear before the Disciplinary Committee (DC) of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) on Thursday to answer charges of his unholy outburst before the sixth week Premier League match between against Accra Hearts of Oak and Kotoko.

A release signed by Isaac Addo, Administrative Manager of the GFA copied to the GNA Sports named player William Asante and his club, Kade Hotspurs, referee Christine Tetteh, Heart of Lions and King Faisal as the rest of clubs and officials set to appear before the Committee. In a related development 12 players have been requested to appear before the Player Status Committee on Thursday, May 26.

They are, Yusif Musah, Yahaya Musah, Nana Kofi Frimpong, Stephen Amo and Jalilu Abubakari of B.A United, Baba Gullit and John Mensah of GT African Team, Abu Mohammed of Nsuta Bayern FC, Isaac Oduro and Gideon Semaha of Heart of Lions, Stephen Osei-Fordjour of Bless FC and Anthony Anokye of Sportnet FC.
