Accra, June 27, GNA - Tesano Spinners finished the first round of the Stanbic Table Tennis league, as leaders after an impressive series of performances.
The spinners recorded an emphatic 3-0 and 3-1 victory over Ghana Navy and Kings Royal Academy in first and second matches respectively, to secure the leading spot as the first round came to an end.
Resurgent Ghana Immigration men still trail Tesano Spinners with two points after winning 3-1 against Smartline at Emefs and another 3-1 over Ghana Police on Saturday.
The following were the results recorded after match one of Week 8 of the Stanbic Table Tennis League; Kings Royal Academy 3-0 Ashiaman Power Club, Ghana Revenue 0-3 Ghana Police, Eastern Loopers 3-0 Madina Stars, Ashanti Otumfuo Stars 3 -2 Team Baboo, Western T.T Club 3-0 Synergy TT Club, Fire Service 3-2 Team Coach Addo.
