JUN 8, 2017 LISTEN

Chief Executive Officer [CEO] of Baby Jet Promotions, Samuel Anim Addo has revealed how Asamoah Gyan has long been clamoring to bring down Floyd Mayweather Jr. to Ghana.

“He tells me that Mayweather is the only idol in the world that anytime he sees him, he will scramble to touch him and he said he did it the first time they met in Miami,” Anim Addo said.

As part of his Undefeated Tour, the former pound-for-pound king of the world [Floyd Mayweather Jr.] is set to appear in Ghana next week.

Floyd Mayweather [49-0] will be live at the Bukom Boxing Arena, where some boxing bouts have been lined up and Anim Addo, who believes that it was the Baby Jet Promotions that resurrected Ghana boxing will do it again to the admiration of the 39 year-old who retired in 2015.

“On the 16th of June, we are going to give you something special. We resurrected boxing in Ghana with the much talked about fight between Emmanuel ‘The Game Boy’ Tagoe and George ‘The Red Tiger’ Ashie,” Anim Addo told www.sports24ghana.com

“The Accra Sports Stadium was packed on that very day and we are going to do it again come next week at the Bukom Boxing Arena,” he added.

The two boxing rivals [Emmanuel Tagoe and George Ashie] will meet in hot five [5] round exhibition bout to showcase to Mayweather how talented the two boxers are.

Isaac Obodai Sai will also fight in a WBO world title eliminator [middleweight] with a Namibian [Walker].

The Undefeated Tour to Ghana is proudly put together by Upscale Entertainment with a help from the Baby Jet Promotions, Glico, Glico Life, UniBank, Golden Link Savings & Loans, amongst others
