Accra, May 16, GNA - The Ghana Football Association (GFA) says United Kingdom based kit manufacturers, Umbro is to kit the senior national team, the Black Stars for their next month qualifying matches against Burkina Faso and South Africa.
The Stars' play host to neighbouring Burkina Faso on Sunday, June 5, at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi and trek to Bloemfontein on June 18 to face South Africa.
A statement issued by Mr. Kofi Nsiah, General Secretary of the GFA copied to the GNA Sports said this was agreed upon after the completion of the first phase of talks with the manufacturers.
Umbro are required to supply a sample of their products for the two duels as the technical supplier with financial support coming from Gold Fields Ghana Limited, official sponsors of the national team "A". The FA intends to seal a sponsorship deal with Umbro by August this year.
