Defender Acquah sprints ahead on scorers' chart

Accra, May 16, GNA - Kumasi Asante Kotoko's defender Dan Acquah, assumed a rare command at the summit of the scorers' chart after the sixth-week matches of the GT Premier League, scoring one of Kotoko's three goals against Hearts of Oak to take his tally to four.

It was the player's fourth goal in six matches, an enviable achievement usually reserved for strikers.

Closely on his heels on three goals are 2003 goal king, Shaibu Yakubu who seems to have slacked after initial signal of a great prospect in the season and also Hearts' surprised candidate, Alfred Nii Larbi. Below is the full list of the scorers on the chart.
