Guinness Ghana Ltd renewed their relationship with the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) when they presented assorted drinks for the 42nd awards which was held at the State House on Saturday with President Nana Akufo Addo in attendance. GGL, Mr. Gabriel Owusu Asare, Corporate Relations Manager who presented the drinks said SWAG has shown matured leadership to be able to sustain the awards over the years, and he commended the entire membership of SWAG for deciding to reward distinguished and deserving sports personalities.
Mr. Kwabena Yeboah thanked Guinness Ghana for their display of love for sports and promised that the 42ndawards will be one of the memorable ones as the sitting President of Ghana, Nana Akufo Addo turned up as Special Guest of Honour to spice the celebration of sports heroes.
Charles Osei Asibey, an executive member said Guinness has shown real commitment to Ghana Sports and the must make sure every patron of the night is satisfied.

Among the drinks donated are Star Beer, Guinness Stout, Alvaro, Malta Guinness and Orijin.
The 42nd SWAG awards was well attended despite clashing with another major event just opposite the Banquet Hall, with Shatta Wale and other leading with the national flag as Ghana Meets Naija 2017 rolled at the International Conference Center.
Though this time there was no dinner, invited guests had much to drink and chop. And the first drink to run out was Guinness as it was in high demand.
