The McDan Group is the latest from the corporate world to lend a hand to the forthcoming Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) Awards Gala scheduled for tomorrow.
The Group on Wednesday presented a cheque of ¢10,000 to the leadership of SWAG at its plush East Legon office in Accra.
Group chairman, Dr Daniel Mckorley mentioned that the decision to support the writer’s association was as a result of its high sense of duty saying, “We will continue to support SWAG because they are putting the various Association heads on their toes.”
SWAG president, Kwabena Yeboah thanked Dr McKorley profusely for the support.
“We are indeed grateful for this support, l promise we will put this money to good use on Saturday.”
The McDan Group chairman is one of the personalities that would be awarded at the Awards Gala at the Banquet Hall of the State House.
Meanwhile, Dr McKorley has congratulated the new Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC) president Ben Nunoo Mensah on his election as the GOC chief.
