Accra, May 9, GNA - The Akosombo Textiles Limited (ATL) Table Tennis league takes a week's break and resumes on Saturday, May 14, with some exciting pairings.

The break according to information gathered by GNA Sports is to enable the Ghana Table Tennis Association (GTTA) mourn with Mr. Oteng Aboagye, General Secretary who has lost him mother. According to the pairings, league leaders CEPS would engage Telecom in the men category.

CEPS who proved the pundits wrong with a 3-0 drubbing of Koforidua, would be hoping to extend their lead atop the table at the expense of Telecom.

Badly bruised Koforidua who are missing the services of nation's number one, Nana Yaw Boateng, have been handed a relatively cheaper pairing against Fire Service.

Obviously, runners up Koforidua are poised to win this duel to stay in contention for the title.

Ashanti and Street Academy would meet Greater Accra and Tema respectively.

In the women category, CEPS meet Ashanti, Police play Street Academy, Fire verses Greater Accra, Winneba face Navy, Swedru come up against Kwanyako, Eastern engage Cape Coast while GASSA welcome GUSA.
