Internazionale are reported to be in talks with Sammy Kuffour.
The Bayern Munich star is out of contract in the summer and he has shunned an offer to remain in Germany.
Now Inter are believed to be discussing terms with the 28-year-old. Kuffour, who has been with Bayern for 11 seasons, has played just ten times this season and has decided it is time to sever his ties with the club.
"I would have liked to have kept him, but he hasn't reacted to our offer of a new contract," Bayern director Ulli Hoeness told Bild. Kuffour was close to joining Newcastle in January, but a move to Tyneside never materialised and he now looks as if he is on his way to Serie A.
