The Ghana Taekwondo Federation (GTF) has donated Taekwondo equipment to its regional associations at the Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC) secretariat in Accra.

The very colourful event was attended by the GOC President Mr. Ben Nunoo Mensah and officials from the Taekwondo Federation as well as a few media representatives.

President Nunoo Mansah reiterated that, transparency is their Hallmark and will ensure that there is smooth accountability and strict transparency for every Ghanaian sports fan to know what is happening.

He announced that member associations can organize their programmes and events at the GOC Conference room to keep the place busy, but warned that the facility must always be kept tidy.

Since the announcement, the Ghana Taekwondo Federation whose President is the Treasurer of the GOC is the first to organize an event at the GOC Conference room.

The Ghana Netball Association and Ghana Kick Boxing Association are two associations who have been permitted to have their congresses at the GOC.

Ben Nunoo Mensah said he wants all sports associations to operate in a free and transparent manner, but they must be accountable and work hard to curve a name.
