Daniel Opare continues to be conspicuously absent from Lens’s team despite being fit

Ghana international Daniel Opare's latest attempt to get his career back on track in the French second division is not going according to plan.

He has played in only 6 league games totaling 491 minutes in the process since joining the club from German club Augsburg.

Having struggled to get a look in to German side Augsburg last summer, he decided to move to the French second division but has since only been involved  in a hand full of games.

This weekend he was not named in the team that shockingly lost to Auxerre in the league.

The defeat has since damaged their hopes of qualification to the division one-placing them on 4^th on the league table.

Opare's continual absence from match days will raise questions again about his attitude with a recent poll conducted by the club showing that most of the fans want him out of the club.
