West African Kick Boxing President Endorse Decathlon Ghana

The President of the West Africa Kickboxing Confederation Zone 2, Mr. Parfait Doukrou has endorsed Decathlon, the biggest sports shop in Ghana as a place to be for all sports goods and products.

Doukrou who has a commercial for the company said Decathlon is a household name in France and French communities, so it is of the best quality and affordable.

Speaking to Yours Truly he said sports like boxing and kickboxing now have their equipment problem solved as Decathlon Ghana has a large consignment of boxing gloves, punching bags, running shoes, training shorts and vests, body building equipment and medicines.

He praised Kwasi Tabury for coming back home to Africa o contribute to the development and promotion of sports.

Doukrou was in Turkey to represent his zone at the recent World Championship and urged Ghanaian Kick Boxers to be serious as they now enjoy the construction of the Bukom Boxing Arena and the Decathlon shop which are huge sports investments.

Last year he organized the first event of the ECOWAS International Kickboxing Friendship tournament (EIKF) to celebrate the 2016 ECOWAS best fighters awards at the Lizzy Sports Complex in Accra.

The competition held on June 24- 25, featuring Kickboxers from Togo, Nigeria and Ivory Coast from the sub-region as well as Lebanon competing in the two day event.

The International Kickboxing Friendship contest is aimed at bringing together all the best professional kickboxers from the globe and to foster unity among the athletes and he is hoping of organising the second edition in Ghana.

He motivated the President of Ghana Kick Boxing Federation to form a national team for Ghana to participate in international competition.
