Two goals in each half from Caleb Amankwah and Gideon Waja gave the West Africa Football Academy [WAFA] a fifth straight victory in the 2016/2017 Ghana Premier League [GPL] having beaten Bolga All Stars 2-0 at the Red Bull Arena in Sogakope.

Despite owning a great of possession in the first half, Bolga All Stars frustrated WAFA from scoring until the 44th minute when Caleb Amankwah found the back of the net.

Gideon Waja extended the lead for the academy boys from well taken free kick which took a deflection of the wall to deceive Sulemana Abdul Aziz in post for the visitors [Bolga All Stars].

The victory means that ‘The Soccer Physician’ - WAFA are still on top of the Ghana Premier League log having picked fifteen [15] points from their last five [5] matches whiles conceding only two [2] against Elmina Sharks [1] and Wa All Stars [1].

Meanwhile, Winful Cobbinah had to step up to the occasion at the Accra Sports Stadium to deny newly promoted Elmina Sharks from picking a win over the Phobians in the capital.

After a goalless first half, the visitors gathered confidence and took the lead in the 59th minute, but their lead could only stand for only three minutes as Hearts pulled parity through Winful Cabbinah’s 62nd minute free kick.
