Gerard Nus shows no disaffection for Ghana despite struggle for AFCON cash

Gerard Nus is holding no grudges with the Ghana Football Association despite his dramatic exit from the country after receiving payment for his 2017 Africa Cup of Nations bonuses.

The Spaniard, an assistant coach for Avram Grant, was in Ghana since early February after returning from the tournament in Gabon demanding his cash.

Nus finally had to pay US$ 1,000 debt incurred for using the mini-bar, laundry and telephone after initially declining which caused him to miss his flight on Saturday.

He posted on his official twitter page: "Thanks to all people of Ghana. Great memories always from this passionate football country. Back to Europe since Jan.2Dubai/Gabon/Ghana."
