'Tudu Magic sure of victory over CEPS Basketball team tonight' - Elvis Pobi-Siaw

Accra, March 24, GNA - Tudu Magic' Star, Elvis Pobi-Siaw has promised victory for his side, as they go head-to-head with CEPS Basketball team tonight, at the Lebanon House, Tudu, Accra.

Speaking to the GNA Sports, Pobi-Siaw said his team is geared up for a victory against the Accra Basketball League (ABL) defending champions, CEPS.

'We are very prepared for this important clash, it is going to be a tough one and we are all aware of that, they won the league last season and that gives us an extra motivation to defeat them this time.

'CEPS are very good side. They have a solid squad, but Tudu Magic is ready to overcome them tonight. It was a close one between these two sides last season, unfortunately it was rained off and we could not have a true winner for the day, but tonight will be different.

'I only joined Tudu Magic this season from Reformers Ghana Prison service and I am adapting very well to the style of play here. This is a very good side with quality players and I know we can win the league this season if we work very hard.

'We won our first game but unfortunately we lost our second one last Wednesday and that is why we can't afford to lose tonight's game. CEPS also lost their previous game against Tema Youth and I know they would come with all gun blazing.' Pobi-Siaw said.

Tudu Magic's enthusiastic shooting guard believes the Accra Basketball League is improving massively and could only get better in the near future.

'The ABL is becoming interesting, all the seven teams are very strong unlike last season and I'm happy the weaker sides got relegated. The organization has been good so far, many people are getting interested in the league and I believe it would be better in few years' time.' He noted.
