Solomon Asante gutted by TP Mazembe’s CAF Champions league exit

Ghana and TP Mazembe winger Solomon Asante has revealed his disappointment following his sides depressing CAF Champions League exit.

The Ravens crashed out of the CAF Champions League at the knockout stages with their head coach paying the ultimate price for teams exit.

'As a player, I have won both the champions league and the confederation cups to add to the club world cups,' Asante told Sportscrusader.

'I have won a number of trophies in my days with TP Mazembe but to miss out on the champions league still pains me the most.'

'As a group, we just have to move on and see it to that we at least make the group stages of the confederation cup.'

'The name of the game is courage and to succeed you must be courageous both on and off the pitch.'
