Slimani Wants Rematch Against Commey

Tunisian Belgium based Hedi Slimani is eyeing a possible rematch with Ghana’s Richard Commey and has promised to avenge his lost against the Ghanaian.

Commey – Slimani clashed earlier this month for the vacant WBC international gold lightweight belt which the Ghanaian won via a unanimous decision.

Despite Commey winning, he was a given a tough night by the Belgian – Slimani opened a cut above the left eye of Commey but the James Town native pounced on Slimani and opened a nasty cut beneath the left eye of the Belgian.

At the end of the 12 rounds, Commey won the vacant title at stake, but after more than ten days after his lost, Slimani took to twitter to call for a rematch.

On that night Duke Micah and Fred Lawson also won other weight divisions of the WBC silver belts.
