Asante Kotoko midfielder Jackson Owusu made his return to the pitch for the first time since injuring his ankle last seasons.
The 26-year-old broke his leg in an unofficial game which saw him miss the entire season.
Owusu's injury was a massive blow to Asante Kotoko because he was the team's first choice holding midfielder before the injury struck.
His return now will be good news for Zravko Logarusic who is hoping to bring back the glory days to the club.
He played in the second half of the game between his side and Ashanti Gold.
