Ghana International Nana Nketia Joins Zambia Premier League Giants Mufulira Wanderers

Former Okwahu United player, Nana Nketia, has signed a two-year contract with Zambian Premiership side Mufulira Wanderers FC.

Nana, 20-years, comes as a utility player who has the tendency to play both as a holding midfielder and supportive attacker.

He has an incredible technique of footwork using both legs and has the ability of hitting the back of the net at any given distance.

In an exclusive interview with Asempanews.com Nana Nketia revealed that, he has gone through a successful medical test and has been cleared to play for his new club.

“Am particularly happy about this move and I am ever ready to give out my utmost best for this club. I am very hopeful with hard work and God's blessings I will make my team proud” the enthusiastic young Ghanaian player said.

Mufulira Wanderers is Zambia’s most successful football club and are based in the Copperbelt town of Mufulira. Popularly known as Mighty Mufulira Wanderers, the club has won 50 trophies and has also produced some of the country’s greatest players like African legend Kalusha.

After nine years in Division I, the Wanderers returned to the Zambian Super League in 2015 and have enjoyed two successive seasons in the top league.
