Ghana defender Edwin Gyimah is the only player from the South African Premier Soccer League at the Africa Cup of Nations.
But the Orlando Pirates player is yet to taste action at the tournament.
Gyimah can play as a centre back and as a defensive midfielder.
It is unlikely he will be handed game time in the semi-final match against Cameroon in Franceville on Thursday.
