Burkina Faso progressed to the quarter-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations, beating a battling Guinea-Bissau side 2-0, with a goal in each half.
Guinea-Bissau may count themselves a little unlucky, with Prejuce Nakoulma taking advantage of a defensive mix-up to open the scoring, and then Bertrand Traore capitalising on a counterattack to run the ball past Jonas Mendes into the net.
Guinea-Bissau had some chances of their own, with substitute Abel Camara dragging his shot wide, and they dominated possession for large sections of the play.
TALKING POINT
Guinea-Bissau have been impressive - even if they don't progress any further. The popular view was that they were making up the numbers, turning up to be whipping boys, but they've given a good account of themselves and given their opponents a real test. They can be proud of themselves.
