Theo Wilson Edzie, President of the Ghana Swimming Association has tipped the Black Stars of Ghana to excel at the Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon.
Speaking on Unique Sports Radio programme, Wilson Edzie said whenever least is expected from the Black Stars, they deliver.
He noted that the Black Stars at Gabon have the mental fortitude and ability to excel due to their quality and experience.
The Broadcast Journalist who has become the face of Ghana Swimming and wants swimming pools to be maintained safely said the Black Stars are very cautious, but hungry for a trophy, so they can never let the 2017 Gabon opportunity slip by.
According to Theo Wilson Edzie, what the Black Stars lack in physique, they make it with their skill and speed. He urged Ghanaians not to lose hope in the team, but support them with prayers and fasting.
