Uganda’s head coach Milutin Sredojevic and the rest of his backroom staff were at the Sevens Stadium to watch the Black Stars of Ghana play their first warm up match ahead of the Afcon against Uzbeki side Bunyodkor.

The Serbian manager is yet to lose a match against Ghana since taking over the Cranes job and will be hoping to improve that impressive record against his fellow Serbian Avram Grant when the two teams meet in Group D.

He managed to orchestrate a draw against the Black Stars when his Uganda side visited Ghana in the first leg of the Russia 2018 qualifiers.

The Cranes managed a 3-1 win over Slovakia in a warm up game. Sredojevic will lead his charges out against Ghana in the first match of Group D. S

The last time Uganda played at the African Cup was in 1978 when they went to the finals with Ghana. The Cranes lost to the Black Stars at the 1978 tournament held in Ghana.
