Ghanaian winger Ernest Asante on target for Nordsjaelland in Danish top-flight

Ghanaian attacker Ernest Asante scored for Nordsjaelland as they managed a 2-2 draw with Esbjerg in the Danish Superliga on Sunday.

The 28-year-old shot the Wild Tigers into a 2-1 lead at the Blue Water Arena on the 78th minute mark but the hosts fought back to draw the match.

Asante's goal came on the wheels of the brilliance and impressive partnership with his Ghanaian compatriot Godsway Donyoh as the former Manchester City starlet swirled through the back after picking a pass from to deliver a neat ball.

And, Asante who had already positioned himself, volleyed the ball home to double his side's lead.

But Esbjerg levelled the scoring in the 90th minute to deny Nordsjaelland the valuable points.

The Sunyani-born winger has now scored three goals in his 13 appearances for Nordsjaelland this season.
