Ghanaian trio Solomon Asante, Yaw Frimpong and Daniel Nii Adjei inspired DR Congo giants TP Mazembe to a 2-0 win over JS Groupe Bazano in an outstanding game in the DR Congo League on Sunday.
Solomon Asante at his usual best provided the assists for all the goals that were scored before being substituted in the 72nd minute of the game.
Yaw Frimpong and Nii Adjei lasted the entire 90 minutes of the game which saw TP Mazembe cementing their stay on top of the league log after nine matches.
Solomon Asante characteristically run riot of the Bazano defence on the left flank connecting excellently with Roger Assale who slotted home to open the scoring for Mazembe in the 23rd minute.
Solomon again teared off his marker with a terrific speed, turned him inside out before locating Elias Meshack who found the back of the net to make it two in the 34th minute.
The Ghanaian players at the DR Congo side have been impressive since joining, with Solomon Asante and Nii Adjei playing vital roles in the club's local and continental successes.
