Sunyani (B/A) Mar. 11, GNA - The Brong-Ahafo Regional Second Division Soccer Middle-League took off on Thursday at the Sunyani Coronation Park with eight teams participating.
The first two clubs to emerge in the four-day competition will qualify for promotion to the Regional First Division.
The participating teams in Zone A are made up of Goaso Nananom F/C, Atebubu AFA club, Techiman Roving Rovers, Bechem United.
The teams from Zone "B" are Wamfie Great Mansen, Berekum Berlin F/C, Nsoatre Manchester United and Nsoatreman F/C also from Nsoatre. In the maiden matches played on Thursday, AFA Club beat Nananom 1-0 with Roving Rovers bowing 0-1 to Bechem United. In Zone "B", Great Mansen defeated Nsoatreman 1-0 while Manchester United thrashed Berlin 2-0.
The competition continues today (Friday) with Great Mansen meeting Berekum Berlin F/C, AFA versus Roving Rovers, Nsoatreman will slug it out with local rivals Manchester United while Bechem United play Nananom F/C. 11 Mar. 05
