Abass Inusah collided with the Hellenic goalkeeper in the last-32 ABSA Cup match at the Caledonian Stadium on Saturday and the Ghanaian international is recovering at his townhouse in Pretoria. “Since they discharged me on Monday, I'm getting much better now. I don't think the incident was intentional because we both got injured and were transferred to Med forum clinic. It is all in the name of the beautiful game. Our team doctor informed me that I will be out for a month or so,” said the ex-King Faisal Football Club defender who joined United in the beginning of this season.

The consistent Matsatsantsa centreback was a pillar of strength in the SAA SUPA 8 Cup and the Coca-Cola Cup. Inusah joined Supersport from King Faisal of Ghana who is also campaigning in the 2005 African Confederations Cup.

According to the United medical staff Inusah's injury was initially serious but he got better after the medical team attended to him. He won't be part of the team that leaves for Seychelles on Wednesday due to the injury.

“Abass suffered a facial fructure (face and head) on his right side, in this case he will be out for six weeks. He is now stable and not in danger,” said the team doctor, Mamosilo Lichaba.
