Jordan Ayew: Ghanaian striker provides assist in Aston Villa's 1-1 draw with Birmingham

Ghanaian striker Jordan Ayew provided an assist in Aston Villa's derby match against Birmingham at St. Andrew's Park o n Sunday afternoon.

The 24-year old was handed a starting berth in Steve Bruce's side as a winger.

Ayew floated a free kick into the area and Gray Gardner was given far too much room to jump above Donaldson and plant a header into the far corner on the 29th minutes.

Birmingham got thier equaliser through midfielder Davis, who bypassed Gardner before sending a crisp strike from 25 yards into the bottom corner.

Jordan Ayew's Ghanaian compatriot Albert Adomah was subbed off early in the first half after suffering a knock.
