Sassuolo loanee Raman Chibsah attributes team effort to winning goal for Benevento

Ghanaian midfielder Yussif Raman Chibsah has refused to take individual praise for scoring the winner for Benevento against Spezia on Saturday.

The 23-year-old left it late in the 84th minute to strike the match winner for the Witches at the Stadio Ciro Vigorito.

The strike ended Benevento's winless run in four games and the Sassuolo loanee has attributed it to team effort and failed to nick individual glory.

"I barely touched the ball but if they give me the goal I will be happy.' Chibsah stated after the game.

"We were very focused, in the beginning we made some mistakes too but in the end we had all the three points. We are a very strong , we should always think positive and work, in the end hard work always pays,"

He added: "The defeat in Trapani last week served as a lesson. During the week we give one hundred percent and the coach chooses the best to play."

Chibsah played with Frosinone in the Serie A last season but the club suffered relegation.
