Some of Europe's biggest clubs are in hot pursuit of Lyon's talented Ghana international Mickael Essien, according to the player's agent.
Fabien Piveteau claims that Juventus, Manchester United, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Arsenal want to sign the midfielder, whose performances have been instrumental in Les Gones' successful Champions League campaign so far.
Lyon thrashed Werder Bremen 3-0 in Germany this week in the first leg of their last 16 tie.
Juve representatives were in Gerland last Friday to attend the Ligue 1 clash between Lyon and Monaco.
"I know that Juventus are interested in Mickael," agent Piveteau told L'Equipe.
"I have not, however, had any direct contact with them yet, which is not the case with Manchester United, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Arsenal."
The 22-year-old Essien, who was born in Ghana, moved to Lyon from Bastia two summers ago.
He has scored three Ligue 1 goals this season and another three in the Champions League.
