Praso Victory JSS emerge Under 15 athletics champions

Twifo Praso (C/R) Feb.24, GNA - Victory Preparatory School at Twifo-Praso on Tuesday, bagged 102 points to lift the Twifo zone Under 15 Basic Schools Athletics competition held at Twifo- Praso. The Anglican B/C and D/C schools tied at the second position with 70 points each with Pamo Preparatory School placing third with 63 points while A/D DC school came fourth with 60 points.

Praso International School placed fifth with 34 points while Charity International School placed sixth with 15 points.

In the Girls division, B and C DC schools jointly took the first position with 67 points each while A and D DC School came third with 61 points.

Victory Preparatory School took the fourth position with 52 points, Anglican School followed at the fifth position with 43 points with Charity Preparatory School placing sixth with 40 points. In the soccer competition, Victory Preparatory School beat A and D DC School 4-3 on penalties to retain the championship trophy.

Mr George Gyimah, the District Sports Organiser commended the players and athletes for exhibiting good sportsmanship during the competition. 24 Feb. 05
