Accra, Feb. 18. GNA - St. Mirren, an Accra based Division One side, will on March 1, begin preparations towards the resumption of the 2005 soccer season.
A statement signed by Fred Crentsil, Chairman of the club copied to the GNA Sports said the training programme, scheduled for the Indadfa Park, is opened to both old and new players who are desirous in joining the club.
Mr Crentsil said the exercise is also to afford the club the opportunity to select players for the team in the coming season. The club after failing to qualify for the 2005 National Middle League are poised to make entry to the sub-middle league as well as the National Middle League. 18 Feb. 05
